■The Meaning of “久遠(kuon)”
・That which endures forever

than what is commonly called “eternity.”

■The Origin of “久遠(kuon)”
Buddhist term.
Long (久) + Distant (遠)
→ “Infinitely long and distant” = Eternity beyond reincarnation
In Buddhist teachings,
it was used to refer to the essential existence, truth, and wisdom of the Buddha
that continues beyond the world of repeated rebirth.
In other words, it conveys a sense of immense scale—an eternity that persists even after all time has ended.
